Prices, quotations and VAT
All tours are quoted individually. Quotations show what is included and whether Swedish VAT applies.
Group size
Gothenburg Tours is built for private tours and smaller groups, not bus-tour volumes. Most private tours work best with up to six guests, excluding children. Larger groups and special arrangements can sometimes be accepted and will be quoted separately.
Styrsö and archipelago tours
The Styrsö Island Walking Tour starts and ends on the island of Styrsö. Requests for another start or end point must be quoted separately. The ferry ride to Styrsö is not included in the listed tour price, but tour timing is adjusted to the ferry timetable where possible.
Additional services and third-party costs
Walking, public transport, ferries and taxis are usually straightforward. Luxury sedans or vans can be requested and quoted. Private boats may be possible, but they depend on timing, season, weather and supplier availability. Entrance fees and transport are included only if clearly stated in the quotation or booking confirmation. Meals are usually paid directly by guests, since preferences vary widely, from water at lunch to champagne. Meals can be included only when specifically requested and confirmed in the quotation.

Payment
Payment terms are confirmed in the quotation or booking confirmation. Payment can be made by credit card or wire transfer. For new agency, DMC, or professional relationships, tours are paid in advance until an invoicing relationship has been established.
EU VAT and invoicing
For European companies with a valid EU VAT registration, invoicing can be handled in accordance with applicable EU VAT rules. Otherwise, VAT is included where applicable.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and change conditions are confirmed with the booking or quotation. If ship schedules, ferry timetables, severe weather or other practical circumstances affect the planned route, Gothenburg Tours will work to adjust the visit where reasonably possible.
